Here you will find useful information for parents about your child's class.

Year 3 (KS2) Homework Schedule

Monday:

• Spellings
• Grammar
• Work related to spelling words, e.g. definition work, using words within a sentence or a paragraph about a given topic.

To be completed into the pupil's English homework books (unless otherwise stated by the class teacher.)
Due to be returned: Wednesday morning.

Wednesday:

• Reading Comprehension - Children to complete on sheets

Due to be returned: Friday morning.

• Reasoning - to be completed in Maths homework books

Due to be returned: Friday morning

• Arithmetic - to be completed either on the sheets or into their Maths homework books (instructions will be given by individual class teachers.)

Due to be returned: Friday morning

Please note: For Reasoning and Arithmetic homework, teachers may decide that children will be given sufficient work which will require them to complete their tasks over the weekend. Therefore, the due date may be set as a Monday morning.
