Pyjamarama Day

Friday 14th May was Pyjamarama Day! Organised by the Book Trust the day focuses on the importance of reading for pleasure and the joy of the bed time story.
Thank you to all of the children who came to school in their pyjamas for the day and brought in £1 to help raise money for the Book Trust to support those who do not have access to books and experience the joy of reading at home.
We have all enjoyed reading and listening to lots of stories and creating our own reading bunting.
A big thank you also to those parents who joined us via Zoom to share a story. The children enjoyed a day filled with words pictures and the opportunity to hear some wonderful stories. If you would like to learn more about how to support your child's reading and explore some excellent story reviews head over to the Book Trust website and sign up for their newsletter
